Quick Review

The trailer for Dragged Across Concrete had me prepared for an intense action thriller. Instead, it was a slow-burn, extended stakeout scene with a short violent climax. It seemed to be preoccupied with side characters who didn't have much impact on the plot. Rather than enjoying an intense story, I just felt bored.

Most of the cast seemed as though they didn't want to be there and there was a distinct lack of chemistry between Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn. It finally got exciting when the action started at the climax, but it was too little, too late. Cut out an hour and it would have been a much better film.
